Weather Stations "CLIMATICA"
Four models of Climatica are available as well as our flagship product the Executive Weather Station (EWS) with recently improved display illumination. Whilst each incorporates the latest in advanced electronic technology, we have maintained traditional styling enhanced by the superbly elegant mahogany and glass cabinet.
All weather parameters can be monitored at a glance. Wind speed, gust speed, wind direction and barometric pressure are all displayed by means of attractive pointers. External temperature (min&max), wet bulb temperature (for humidity readings), accumulative rainfall and sunshine hours, are shown by LCD displays (depending on model).
"Met4Net™ data logger", a sophisticated computerised data logging interface, is available as an optional extra. All sensors are very robust with a high degree of accuracy and each is supplied with 25 metres of cable (additional cable is available on request).

Weather Station Specification for Models Basic, Dual, Plus, Plus with Gust Alarm or Wind Speed x2.

Elegant hardwood and glass cabinet with wind and gust speed indication, wind direction and barometric pressure analogue displays. Alternative models provide external temperature (max/min), wet bulb temperature (for humidity readings) accumulative rainfall and sunshine hours are all provided with LCD displays.

Sensors: Roof mounted wind speed and direction, temperature and sunshine duration with mounting bracket assembly for easy installation, remaining sensors are wall or suitable surface mounting (see installation details with product) all provided with 25 metres of cable (additional cable length by request) when ordered.

Sensor assembly anodised aluminium alloy, stainless steel and nylon with injection moulded polypropylene anemometer cups. A compass is provided for North orientation, the only setting required.

Power supply: 220-240V 50Hz or 110V 60Hz, moulded plug-in power supply unit. Power supply unit has provision for 12V power supply.

Wind direction: Analogue 8 point scale, subdivided into 30 degree points, electronically damped. Accuracy ± 10 degrees, resolution >10 degrees, threshold 1.5m/s, 3Knots, 3.5mph, 5km/h damping delay 2-3 seconds.

Wind speed: Analogue speed indication with gust pointer, calibrated 0-90mph, 0-80Knots and Beaufort scale. Alternative kph and metres/second scales are available (see scale codes).

Max Speed 90mph, 80Knots, 145km/h, 45m/s accuracy ± 5% or 3Knots.

Barometer: Analogue pointer with hand set pointer reset, calibrated in mBars and inches. Range 950 - 1050 mBars.

Temperature: LCD digital display in degrees C or F, max/min selectable readings, range -40 to +50 degrees C (-40 to +120 degrees F) resolution 0.1 degrees C.

Rainfall: LCD digital display in 0.01mm increments. Accuracy ± 5% (5ml water = 1mm rainfall) resolution 0.01mm, auto sensing.

Sunshine duration: LCD digital display in 0,01hours steps, accuracy ± 5%, resolution 0.01 hours (36 seconds).

Wet bulb temperature: LCD digital display with wet bulb humidity sensor fitted with radiation screen. Humidity readings to be taken from chart provided for relative humidity and dew point.

Optional addtional controls.
Gust alarm: audible alarm set to adjustable maxmium.
Wind Speed x2: Switch to double recording scale (used for exposed sensor positions).
Met4Net™: Data logger to PC Serial port connectivity or through Serial to USB Port cable (sold seperately).
